'OCEANUS' includes some of the best material we have written. However, you wouldn't know it from listening to this 1997 OarFin label release. Lacking any of the warmth found in the previous album, the songs on ‘OCEANUS’ suffer from poor mixes, production conflicts and lack of sleep (check out the self-produced demos for ‘House Of Liars’ and ‘Fallen Icon’ on the re-released first disc for the rest of the story). We ended up losing some money, a bass player and a little sanity over this experience. If you have to have everything we’ve ever done, go ahead and add it to your collection. Otherwise: buyer beware!
